DTLV Arts is proud to be the home for our partner, First Friday, Las Vegas’ only and long-standing monthly arts & cultural event, which has been in operation for over 17 years in Downtown Las Vegas. Showcasing local artists, musicians, food trucks, makers, and more, First Friday provides a platform for local culture and creativity to be celebrated in all its forms. While best known as a monthly activation, the First Friday Foundation extends its community outreach efforts well beyond the first Friday of each month.

As a 501(c)3 non-profit organization, First Friday is dedicated to supporting local arts, culture, and education. The Foundation has put significant effort into providing artistic opportunities for thousands of students in the Clark County School District through creative empowerment assemblies, contests, and income-based opportunities. First Friday has also worked alongside other local non-profits such as the DISCOVERY Children’s Museum, Best Buddies, Nevada Homeless Alliance, Nevada Senior Services, Girl Scouts of America and Outside Las Vegas Foundation to bring field trips, day outings, and creative projects to Las Vegas schools.
